Route 45 Roadwork To Cause Delays In Chestnut Ridge On Tuesday

CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. - A section of Route 45 in Chestnut Ridge will be closed Tuesday for emergency maintenance work, the state Department of Transportation announced.

The southbound lane of Route 45 from Red Schoolhouse Road to Hungry Hollow Road is estimated to be closed from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

A detour is posted and will divert traffic onto Red Schoolhouse Road heading east, then onto Summit Road heading south before getting back onto Route 45. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use caution when traveling through a work zone.
